Westmark Spiral Vegetable & Fruit Slicer

I love getting new tools for the kitchen. That being said, my two main concerns when considering a new purchase is “is this really worth the money?” and “where on earth will I store this?” I thought I’d share with you my thoughts on one of my new kitchen tools; the Westmark Spiral Vegetable & Fruit Slicer.

This slicer is also known as a spiralizer. I wanted this in order to make healthy raw vegetable pasta. Now that I have it, I use it to make all sorts of vegetable and fruit salads. Our raw vegetable consumption has increased by quite a lot!

The slicer is really easy to use. Insert one of three blades, place fruit or vegetable on spindle and crank the handle. Voila! Out come your noodles!!

Product Name: Westmark Vegetable & Fruit Slicer

Where I bought it: Scoop N Weigh

Cost: $79.99

This made in Germany slicer is sturdy and well made. The non-slip suction feet actually work! It features three stainless steel interchangable blades, which also store conveniently within the slicer. It is easy to clean, simply wash and air dry.

Other online reviews gave this product an excellent rating. The main disadvantage is that it does cost slightly more than other comparable slicers.
