Life of Kris started out as a food blog in 2013 and in 2016 it morphed into the lifestyle blog I’m the photographer, the recipe developer and the writer. I do it all here and love every minute of it. I work from home, and managing two businesses and writing for three blogs.

If you’re looking for recipes made with real butter, real sugar, and sea salt this is your day. I pride myself on using the best ingredients possible. I’ve been sharing my kitchen adventures with my readers since 2013. Since starting this blog, I’ve expanded my normal cooking routine, become a better cook and baker, and a better writer. I’m still getting the hang of SEO, and food photography, but the learning is all part of the fun.

I love my traditional Canadian recipes. I grew up eating perogies, homemade jam and made from scratch baking. Food at Home was started so that I could share my latest & greatest with you. Since childhood, I’ve expanded on what I’ve learned and am constantly developing new recipes.

You’ll also notice that I like to share my latest finds. Whether it’s something for the home, family or a new beauty product, I’ll be sharing my new favourites. I’m also a coffee lover, and am always on the hunt for new roasts and brewing techniques. I enjoy making and drinking beer and wine, and will be sharing more of those recipes as I go.
